Welcome to the Unofficial Dirt Bike Webpage!

Dirt Bike is a motorcycle simulation action game. Using complex physics, it very accurately simulates a Dirt Bike being ridden over various terrain. You design the bike and control the throttle and shifting to race against other players, computer controlled bikes, and previous high scores. Registered users can create tracks of any shape including huge jumps, hill climbs, motocross, trials courses, drag races, half pipes or anything else you can imagine. Motocross riders love this game for it's riding realism.

Dirt Bike Registration ia now easier then ever with the online registration form. You can register using a credit card for only $15. If you register online, you should receive your registration code (via email) within a couple of days. Registration unlocks many features in the program.

Dirt Bike 3d includes a 3d enviroment, helmet camera, a positional camera, zoom, color choices for: helmets, shirts, pants, and bike, for all riders (including computer), editing of computer bikes, backgrounds (1.5 and greater) and a lifetime of fun. I'm sure other improvements will be made, so check back here from time to time for updated versions. Dirt Bike 3d is the latest in the Dirt Bike series. If you thought the 2d version was realistic, you've got to try the 3d version. Versions are available for Macs and Windows (95,98, or NT.)

Dirt Bike 3d 1.6 for Macs is now out. Version 1.6 requires OpenGL, if you don't have it, download version 1.5.

Dirt Bike Tracks are compatable between Mac OS and Windows on all 3d versions. Email me some if you have good ones. I'll try to get some more tracks up here soon. Click here for new 3d tracks. Click here for new Macintosh 3.1, and 4.3 tracks.

Networks: A number of peole have asked how to set up network play. To connect using Macs, you have do do the following(Windows isn't much different). Go into the TCP/IP control panel. Set it to connect "via ethernet" and then set it to configure "manually". Set the ip addresses on the two machines to something like 100.100.100.5 and 100.100.100.6, the last number being the only number to change. Then set the subnet mask on both machines to 255.255.255.0 All other things can be kept blank. Once you get that set, you each create an internet bike with the other person's IP address. It also works if you create an internet bike on one machine with the other machines IP address and create an internet bike on the other machine with 0.0.0.0 for an IP address.
